Brenda Smull is a compelling communicator, accomplished mentor, and illuminating author. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), an active member and leader in Toastmasters International since 1994, and a current member of the Arizona National Speakers Association (NSA) Board of Directors.

Brenda is the author of Strong Words and Simple Truths: The Courage to Communicate, a collection of articles and stories that help readers enhance their communications, connections, and creativity with insightful tools.

Additionally, Brenda is an officer in the American Legion and received an Army Commission from the ROTC program at Rutgers University, where she earned a BA in Biochemistry. She served as a Signal Platoon Leader in the 1st Cav Division during Operation Desert Storm and is a passionate advocate for veterans and champion for veteran’s services and community engagement.
